Ni-MH batteries naturally discharge slightly after reaching a full charge, causing their voltage to drop. When recharging fully charged Ni-MH batteries, the Ostation X uses a low current to safely bring them back to full charge, which is why the process takes extra time. Please update the software to version V2.0.0. This version has resolved this issue. The batteries will be fully charged within 10 minutes and dropped down to the storage compartment again. |

How do I pair my Ostation X with the Olight app?

To pair your Ostation X with the Olight app, begin by downloading the Olight app on your mobile phone. Enable cellular data, Bluetooth, and location services on your mobile phone. Open the app and tap "My Devices" to enter the device management interface. At this point, you can either log in to your account or choose to continue without logging in by tapping "No, continue without logging in."
Next, activate the pairing mode on your Ostation X. Ensure the device is powered on, then press the power button five consecutive times. This will cause the LED indicator ring to flash blue, signaling that the device is in the pairing mode. In the app, locate "Ostation X" in the left column and select it, followed by tapping the image of your device. Once the device is added, tap "Finish", and your Ostation X will appear in the device list.
If the device is not added successfully within 3 minutes, re-enter the pairing mode.

What triggers the auto sleep mode, and how do I exit it?

The device will automatically enter the auto sleep mode from one of the following causes.:
Cause A: No batteries were detected in the charging compartment after three attempts. Solutions: Method A: Press the power button once. Method B: Tap the "Start Charging" button in the Olight app. Method C: Activate vibration sensing by loading batteries or tapping the device. |
